Grounded til thursday. no tv. no phone. no boys.

She thinks she's clever cuz she figured out how to open the DVD cupboard.

Which one will she destroy next?

She figures if she puts it behind her back i won't see it.
.. and then if she plays peek a boo i will think she's really cute...
See the face? it's saying "what? I'm doing everything RIGHT!"
Or, if I smile really hard- my best smile possible, Mom will zerbert me.

#2 turns FOUR!!

Here she is. The eve of Brooke's fourth birthday. We couldn't wait to take her to build-a-bear, cuz when Anna turned four she was so sick on her birthday, we had to cancel the festivities so I took her to build a bear instead- ever since then, Anna's build a bear(Asia) has been a part of the family. So here Brooke is all adorned in her stampede hat, adopting "Kitty" the cat.

Then a carousel ride!

Birthday morning.
Anna got a new flower pin and shirt for stampedin'!
Brooke with her new jewelry box and stampede dress!
On our way to the Stampede.

Chip came back as a horses ass? (bad joke, i know)
Stampedin makes us hungry. Time for milk and cookies.
The faster the ride, the better!

For dinner, Brooke requested a carpet picnic/ pizza party and cake.

.. and then the real party started!!!!!

What happens when big sister is away?

Anna had a sleep-over at a friends house, so Brooke got some over due "alone time" with mom and dad, and Dylan (when she was awake). Brookes biggest wish during the 12 hours that Anna was away, was to have breakfast in bed.
Pink pig got breakfast in bed too.
D got breakfast on the floor cuz she is a hazard on high surfaces. Unless belted down.

what i've been doing in my spare time..

I really don't have spare time. My days are spent with my head spinning in a 360 making sure everyone is safe, clean and well fed. The floors are washed, dishes done, laundry... you get the idea. This was all getting monotonous, so I broke out the singer, did some research and found some great projects online, to be completed after "work". THIS (click on "THIS") is the most brilliant tutorial on how to make a hat out of an old (or new) t-shirt. I made 4 in one night. If I can do, you can do it!!

Oh, and i made this dress for Anna out of one of my old t-shirts. My own design ;)
What good is a bunch of hats for the kiddos if I don't make myself sumpin. Here's a great DRESS, easy to make, easy to accessorize.
Stay tuned ...
