First day of kindergarten, new bike and haircuts...

We were so eager to start school that we were the first ones in Anna's classroom.. She was sooo proud to be there!

Brooke just had to get her "hair cut all around"... so we did- and this might not be the best shot- but it's damn cute!

Chris went to Ottawa for work at the Swimming Canada office- he came home with some pink Speedo tanks for the girls. They wanted to do a photo shoot in them....

...and now the big man, Dr. Doody- came in to do the final check. No cavities! and start saving up for orthodontics as we have a 90% over bite.

...the reward for shiny, white, cavity free teeth- time to play with Mr. Banana's and brush his big monkey teeth! He's so popular I may get one for myself!

FIRST BORN LOSES FIRST TOOTH!!!

Anna kept warning me all morning that her tooth was really loose and that she was gonna lose it by the end of the day. It was camp day, so I made sure we packed her tooth fairy box ("and a tissue in case it bleeds") so she could save the tooth at camp and bring it home for the tooth fairy. Well- she got brave at camp and pulled the tooth out herself!! She put it in her tooth fairy box and the camp teacher taped the box up so the lid wouldn't come off! Chris picked her up from camp and Anna showed him the tooth.. and then somehow from camp to our house, the tooth fairy box and tooth got lost!!!! We've looked everywhere- however the tooth fairy came anyway and left a toonie!!!!! (it took 3 attempts to make the drop- what a light sleeper!!!)

TENT CITY

Decisions had to be made in this poor economy.. we rented out the girls rooms and now they set up their own "TENT CITY" in our living room. Can you see the despair???
