• We had lots of fun today. We started off with a number 3 birthday pancake. Then off to Nancy's house to see Claire and Aidan. Nancy suprised Anna with a birthday cake with sparkler candles!! Then we had make your own pizza with mom and dad and MORE CAKE!


• Anna got a big new basketball hoop, doll house, roller skates, pincess dress up outfit, and lots of nice cards and gifts from family and friends. Thank you all!

In Alberta there's a holiday called Family Day. So today we decided to take the girls to the zoo and to our suprise the whole Shepard family was there!

Happy Valentines Day!

Today is very cold (-25C)- but apprently it's supposed to warm up to 7C!

The girls went to "school" for the morning to see their friends while mom excersised!

Lots of chocolate later, a nap and some lunch- we are off to look at treadmills! :)

Hawaii for a month!

We just (well 2 weeks ago) got back from 28 days in Maui! We had the greatest time just being together sans all the big city chaos! We spent most of our mornings at the beach (there were so many to chose from) and the afternoons at the pool. Anna learned to hold her breath for 11 seconds (very important to know this!)... and got to be very good friends with her twin friend Amber from Whistler,BC. They hung out as many days as they could and we all miss her and her family dearly!

Mom and Dad met us in Maui after we had already been there for a week. We had a great time spending the next 3 weeks exploring with them and dreaming of future trips back. We have to mention that they are the greatest babysitters! Thanks mom and dad!

Hi all! Sometimes we feel so far away, so we thought we'd create a site just for you (and for us) to sort out all that is going on in our lives.

Anna is 3 on Feb. 27! She is a blond bombshell and has us constantly honing our negotiation skills. Chocolate is and always will be the best resolution for all females!

Brooke is 7mos today! She is a brunette beauty and out to cause trouble already. It doesn't matter what's in our hand, about to go in our mouths or with in 3 feet, she will attack it! She almost weighs as much as her big sister (ok, not that much, but when carrying her in the infant seat it feels that way). Yes, I have one arm longer than the other and my right hip is curvier than the left hip :).
