Pottery time!

I haven't taken a pottery class in a couple of years. Prior to that, I had to been dabbling in it since 2006. This last class was different for me. I just couldn't get in to it again. Perhaps it was because it ran from 7pm-10pm. That is when I turn in to a pumpkin. So 5 weeks went by and I had NOTHING to show for it. So- i took my clay home and sat down at the dining room table and hand built a few things. It was at that point I felt "in to it" . Here are the final results. They are just so springy!!!

A more traditional item- that I actually did on the wheel- Ok- here's the ONE thing I did in class.

I made 16 napkin rings. Surely I'll be handing a set out- as I am not sure what I'll do with 16!
